I was holding Caleb yesterday and he started doing this -- and I was just dying laughing....and he kept doing it. I knew I had to get it on video, but I was afraid that if I put him down he would stop. Well, he didn't!!! It is hilarious!! You can't help but laugh!
...well, today isn't my birthday, but Wednesday was and I had one of the BEST birthdays every! There wasn't any party or big ta-daa...just hanging out with friends and a family dinner. I spent Tuesday night at Sherry's house just hanging out with her and the kids while Ricky was manning the fire station. Then Wednesday, I went with them, Braden, Austin, and Jessica to a free movie in Anderson. And when we got back, Sherry suggested we take the kids on a picnic. So she scrounged up some sammiches ;) and off to Chau Ram we went -- even though it looked like the bottom was about to drop out of the sky! We had a GREAT time!! Megan wanted to "hike" one of the trails, so off we went...and if you know anything about Chau Ram, then you know about the bridge. Well, me and that bridge didn't get along so well -- it is a suspension bridge and the kids were rocking it and I was freaking out! Sherry was laughing at me so hard she about peed her pants! LOL. Anyway, I got some cute pictures of the kids and we had fun just hanging out and laughing at each other!!
Later on, my sister and BIL took me out for a birthday dinner and mom joined us. They asked me where I wanted to go, and I decided on Applebee's. We had a great time there too. Got some great shots of me holding Caleb -- and I have to admit, I look GOOD in these pictures! ;) haha. Like I said, this was really one of the BEST birthdays I have had -- there wasn't any hoop-laa about it...just some good clean fun with the people I love!!!

Here are some updated photos of my little nephew Caleb who is 9 months old today...and by looking at him now, you would NEVER know that he was 3 months premature!!! He has 2 teeth now and nibbling on anything he can get his hands on!! SO cute! ;)

I do not understand why people who are supposed to be leaders of worship can't stay to hear the preacher preach. If you're going to come to church only to leave after 10 minutes, why even bother coming??? This happened at church tonight and I just need to vent. Yes, they're great singers and/or drama team members. But I don't see how you can expect to minister to someone only to leave early from church. I mean, don't get me wrong, I am NOT saying that you have to be at every service to be effective in your ministry. I understand that things happen or need to be done. What I don't understand is why even drive to church, especially on the night that you may not be participating in service, just to leave after 10 minutes. And when you DO have a part in the service, what kind of example does it set to people when the "
leaders" of worship leave early??? It just does not make ANY sense to me. Then when you happen to call them out on it, these people get mad and claim that's the only time they have to get things done. BUT, if you really had things to do, and that is your reason for leaving service
super early, then don't get caught at a RESTAURANT!!!
...okay....I'm going to stop venting now; because if I don't, I will probably say something [more] that I really shouldn't.
I did it!!! I finally graduated college....AGAIN! haha. I finished with classes back in March for my masters, and graduation was last Saturday. I am so happy to be done with it all, but I sure am gonna miss my friends! I should have gotten a picture with everyone; but after the ceremony was over, we all scattered!! I AM A CHRISTIAN. I love the Lord with all my heart, soul, & mind. God has really blessed me more than I could ever imagine, but the truth is that Satan HATES me!! I face struggles & temptation every single day of my life; but no matter what happens, I still strive to do the will of God. Because I put my faith & trust in God, He has provided relief for me & my family time & time again! God never fails to comfort & remind me of His promise that “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). There have been countless times that I did not deserve God’s grace & should not have been granted mercy. But He has granted me mercy & forgiveness, as well as goodness & grace -- all for the purpose of sharing it with those I meet along the path of life. Some days are better than others, but you always have to remember to keep pressing on! Keep praising HIM & He’ll never fail to bring you through the storm.
